Peter (RoboCop) Weller stars in this rather clichéd private eye mystery which was intended for cinemas but went straight to video instead. Weller plays a gumshoe investigating the murder of his wife but, as is always the case in this sort of film, there are wheels within wheels and our hero soon finds himself out of his depth. Weller, to his credit, gives the central character a certain quirkiness, even though he always seems to be beaten up or drunk or both, but it isn't really enough to lift this effort above the average. Plenty of nudity, sex and violencve, though, which is par for the course these days.
