A bit rudimentary, but not as violent by today's standards as it seemed in 1974, this is still a fairly unpalatable crime-and-sex vehicle for the formidable Pam Grier, who is given plenty of chances to show off her amazing body as well as a talent for action scenes and decent acting ability in the story of a woman (the synopsis says she's a nurse, though there's no evidence of that on screen) who infiltrates a high-priced call-girl/drug ring after her policeman lover has been murdered. Loose-lipped Antonio Fargas is Foxy's brother, whose snitching leads to the killing, and Peter Brown, a decade earlier a teenage star of Disney films, is one of the villains. When Pam gets raped and filled with dope by the bad guys' redneck henchmen but subsequently escapes with the facility of a Modesty Blaise, you just know there's gonna be hell to pay. She makes Pamela Anderson's Barb Wire seem like a pussycat.
