Daryl Hannah and Keith Carradine are down on their luck with this dodgy, dangerously overheated thriller - playing hardened criminals who'll stop at nothing, even murder, to get their young daughter back from her adoptive parents. A contrived, exploitative story gets suitably artificial, nasty-toned handling in a spurious film with gratuitous moments and unpleasant violence that recalls Kurt Russell's Unlawful Entry, as well as the worst aspects of director Wesley Strick's own screenplays for Cape Fear and Final Analysis.
