Major Benson Payne (Damon Wayans, who co-wrote the screenplay) is discharged from the marines, but after a long military life he can't quite fit into society and finds himself at a loose end. However, he's then offered a job working with schoolchildren, teaching them combat skills. How does the fighting man adapt to a new life where there are no big battles and discipline doesn't have to be quite so severe? The kids are cute, but there's a unnecessary romance thrown in for variety. It stretches credulity a bit with a crude script, but is generally fun.
