John Simm

Simm first came to the attention of British audiences in the TV series The Lakes before landing roles in films such as Human Traffic and 24 Hour Party People.
After training at London's Drama Centre, he starred in Tony Marchant's Never Never and the BBC's Crime & Punishment.
He made his feature debut in the forgettable Boston Kickout but attracted attention as Eddie in Michael Winterbottom's Wonderland.
He followed this with Justin Kerrigan's cult clubbing movie Human Traffic before landing the lead in the lacklustre Miranda.
However, he was back on track with Winterbottom's excellent 24 Hour Party People with Steve Coogan.
Subsequent appearances have included the acclaimed British TV series White Teeth and State of Play.
