Described as a sequel to the Brandon Lee comic strip-style action-horror, The Crow, this is, in reality, simply a rehash of the original tale. Man is killed by murderous gang. Man comes back from the dead to seek vengeance. Vincent Perez takes the central role orginally occupied by Lee and dons the scary makeup. Not such a terrible film, it's just that we'd seen it all before only a couple of years previously. But it's worth watching, if only to see rockers Iggy Pop and the late lamented Ian Dury in strong supporting roles. But, as that diamond geezer might have said: `What a waste'.
