Sometimes you can go to the well just once too often. This is certainly the case here for playwright Neil Simon. London Suite comes after Plaza Suite and California Suite - a long way after - and the trusty old Simon formula is looking pretty thin. A good cast that includes Kelsey Grammer (fun with an English accent), Richard Mulligan and Madeline Kahn do battle with Simon's flat, uninteresting script revolving around neurotic but dull characters. British veteran William Franklyn, though, gives a nicely-judged performance as the hotel manager.
