Orlando & Keira Most Wanted

If you own a little black book (and frankly who doesn't?) then you need to make two very important new entries.

Rub out viscount someone-or-other and the honourable so-and-so because the hottest new faces in the world of eligible sorts are Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

The two young British actors, who star together in Pirates Of The Caribbean, have been named by society magazine Tatler as the most desirable unmarried types.

Tatler's Little Black Book, which is published annually and normally lists posh totty with enough surnames to share amongst the needy, seems to have gone for talent at the top instead of daddy's cheque book types.

Tatler editor, Georgie Grieg, explains just why the two stars have made it to the very pinnacle of the most wanted list:

"It is a very dynamic and sexy list.

Of the Bend It Like Beckham star Grieg says:

"She's the brightest young thing of her generation, with long limbs and fine features."

Another actor whose single status means - despite his 43-years of age - he's still the focus of those who want to marry well is Hugh Grant.

Grieg explains the About A Boy's charm:

"He gets better and better - no one is more witty and more intelligent." No one? Not even Einstein?

Prince William (top 100), Prince Harry (no.4) and Jacobi Anstuther-Gough-Calthorpe (no.7) might well be a bit miffed by this new breed of actors who seem to have worked for their status with not a single silver spoon in sight.

Who'd have though it for an elf in green tights and a footy loving tomboy?
