Modern romantic comedies can be hit-or-miss: finding a balance is difficult. But this engaging film strikes most of the right notes most of the time. Sarah Jessica Parker and Eric Schaeffer are friends who vowed when they were 20 that if neither had found true love by their 30th birthdays, they would jump hand-in-hand off Brooklyn Bridge. Well it's now a month shy of the big day so they both start to panic... Engaging performances from the two leads, plus Ben Stiller and (surprisingly perhaps) Elle Macpherson make this a good-natured and enjoyable movie.
