Frenetic Rik Mayall plays a record company boss who, beset by creditors and an alimony-demanding wife, hires a novice hitman to bump off his biggest, but fading star, Mavis Davis (Jane Horrocks). A joke-free zone, this hopeless black comedy is a totally unbelievable, unfunny mess.
