More like SextupleCross, this Canada-shot TV movie is none the more interesting for its complexity. Patrick Bergin and Billy Dee Williams make the most of thinly-written characters as a fiendishly clever jewel thief and the FBI agent obsessed with bringing him to justice. Ashley Laurence (the girl from the Hellraiser films) also does her best with thin material as Bergin's lover, who becomes involved with the con (a wooden Michael Paré) whom Williams has sprung from jail as part of his plan. This all gets very tangled, but J A Rosen's muddled script will leave you past caring long before the (rather perfunctory) climax.
