Lisa Kudrow gets her reward for being so funny as Phoebe in Friends in this stonking star part as one of two numskulls (the other is Oscar-winner Mira Sorvino) trying to masquerade as successes in life at their school reunion.
Okay, their roles are little more than extended revue sketches, but, boy, do the well-paired stars put their backs into it.
The movie's very American, but fragrantly and sweetly so, and it's consistently amusing and sometimes hilarious.
Pace-wise, it keeps motoring along and never outstays its welcome.
