Mums and dads will probably appreciate this Monty Pythonesque adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's marvellous children's tale as much, if not more, than their children. Terry Jones directs a magnificent ensemble of British funnymen and actors and plays the incorrigible Toad to boot in this live-action re-telling of the famous story. There's Steve Coogan as Mole, Eric Idle as Ratty, and Nicol Williamson as Badger. But you'll especially enjoy Antony Sher as the chief baddie (a weasel), Stephen Fry as an unsympathetic judge and Michael Palin as The Sun. Pure fantasy with perhaps too sinister a touch at the end for the tinies.
