Rick Moranis gives it one last effort as the mad inventor in this tired second sequel to the far superior Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. Once again he's into down-sizing, but this time the victims are his brother (Stuart Pankin) and himself, who tumble for a series of zany antics which are now more than familiar. The film's over-used format is let down even further by the shoddy special effects on which the whole thing relies. The fact that it was denied a theatrical release and went straight to video with a running time of a mere 75 minutes speaks volumes.
