Vinnie Jones
Born: 5th January, 1965
Where: Watford, Hertfordshire
Vinnie first came to public notice as a professional footballer, playing in the English League.
Notorious as one of football's hard men, he leapt to fame when a photographer snapped him 'getting to grips' with Paul Gascoigne (he grabbed and squeezed the star's most sensitive area!).
He has played for Wimbledon, Leeds United, Sheffield United, Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers, the club he managed for a short while.
He made his acting debut in the British flick Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and followed up with a near silent performance in Gone In 60 Seconds.
His next role arrived in Snatch, Guy Ritchies follow-up, but not sequel, to Lock Stock.
In 2001 Vinnie starred alongside John Travolta and Halle Berry in Swordfish, and was then cast in the remake of the 70's Burt Reynolds classic, Mean Machine.
