Young architect Craig Sheffer is angry when he find his wife Sheryl Lee is secretly consulting a sex therapist, but all is well when the sex-guru counsellor (Terence Stamp) starts teaching the couple how to heal their marriage. This offbeat psychological drama has an interesting premise and poses some intriguing questions, but leaves most of them unanswered, so insight is low. As entertainment, it lacks humour, edge, eroticism and real incisiveness. But the star trio are old troupers, used to making the best of a shoddy situation. You wonder what they'd be capable of given a decent script.
