Welcome to Sarajevo

Fact-based drama starring Stephen Dillane as a British TV journalist who smuggles a young girl out of war-torn Bosnia and brings her back home to England. With Woody Harrelson, Marisa Tomei, Emira Nusevic.

Quite a touching account of one correspondent's experiences in the former Yugoslavia as he tries to smuggle a nine-year-old orphan girl out of Bosnia. Stephen Dillane invests great warmth and sincerity in his character, who is based on ITN's Michael Nicholson. Other star names (in particular Woody Harrelson and Marisa Tomei) give cameos that help to give this sad story some needed clout.
