A fun wildlife saga about three brothers who grew up in the Sixties in love with nature and wildlife and, leaving their harsh home lives, embarked on a long trip through the Everglades and the Rockies, filming what they saw during their vacation. Devon Sawa, Scott Bairstow and stowaway youngest brother Jonathan Taylor Thomas play the real-life Stouffer brothers, who went on to become film-makers in the David Attenborough mould, in this well-acted, effective piece with beautifully photographed stunning scenery. Only troubles are, it's not too involving as drama, the true-story plotline's untidy and the boys lack emotion in their performances. Danny Glover appears in an unbilled cameo role as a grizzled mountain man.
