A wild and quirky adventure comedy about security guard John Brown (Broderick), who dreams of becoming the world's greatest police officer.

Using a vast array of gadgets and gizmos, Inspector Gadget must use his common sense to crack an especially complicated case.

Travelling in his talking Gadgetmobile, the Inspector must save his good name and reputation, and rescue the world from the evil Claw (Everett).

Described by the police chief as "Columbo and Nintendo all rolled into one", armed with his 'Go, Go Gadget' catchphrase, Inspector Gadget has a self-contained tool for every occasion.

Extremely silly but mercifully short, it's hard to dislike for its fun trick work and amusing gadgets.
