Joe Mantegna stars as an ex-cop persuaded by two sisters to crack security codes to get into an office in a familiar but efficient film noir. Once in, Mantegna finds the hidden money the trio are after, makes off with it himself, but then finds it's Mob drug money. Mantegna, Kelly Lynch and Naomi Watts, together with the the late, great J T Walsh as the hissable baddie, a vicious cop with a cattle prodder, give the tale all they've got. The mix of noir, character study and action isn't the best ever but it works pretty well.
