A mediocre cast that includes Nicollette Sheridan does little more than line up to collect their pay cheques, in this TV movie, passing itself off as a comedy-thriller, in which rich, spoilt wives send chain letters to each other. The sinister content? Each letter bears a list of names of husbands to be bumped off. Apart from the implausibility of the entire plot, the comedy that we're meant to find in the murders themselves is not too successful. And the poor men being sent off to the afterlife aren't nasty enough for us to cheer with glee at their passing. John Ritter plays the doctor who writes articles about marital bliss, but is unaware of his wife's boredom. Then he finds the deadly list - and his own name at the top of it. Ritter and co-star Amy Yasbeck married soon after this movie was completed.
