Lovesick Dylan (David Spade) gets into more trouble than he bargained for when he snatches the dog of the cellist (Sophie Marceau) he fancies. He offers to help her search for the pooch in order to get closer to her, but when he later returns the animal, he finds it's nabbed her friend's special ring. Then Lila's jealous ex (Patrick Bruel) comes on the scene... A corny, highly unoriginal romantic comedy.
