After being conned into taking part in a bogus robbery by sleazy Mo Lasker (Gary Busey), con artist Danny (Jeff Fahey) and his friend Ziggy (James Russo) find themselves on the run from a tough Mob boss. While they are evading the gangsters, things become even more complicated when Danny inherits a dilapidated farm. He also runs into his old flame Britt, who is now married to sheriff Michael Madsen - not to mention the temptation of a local logging company with a weekly cash payroll of $500,000! A reasonable thriller with some nice human touches, if rather undercut by violence, strong language and sex scenes.
