Anne Rice, author of Interview with a Vampire, penned the original novel from which this little horror number sprang, providing a rare latter-day role for Sixties' sex symbol Carroll Baker in the process. Robert Patrick plays a ghost (yes indeed! ) who helps priest-turned-cop Dean Cain on his case. This sounds more like a comedy than the dark tale it is, but it's well performed, with decent production values. It was originally made as a pilot for a TV series that never happened.
