Anna Popplewell

The actress is best known for the role of Susan Pevensie in the Chronicles of Narnia series.
The eldest of three children, she is the daughter of barrister Andrew Popplewell, QC and Dr Deborah Lomas, an immunologist and was named after Anna Karenina.
Her two siblings, Freddie Popplewell and Lulu Popplewell, who appeared in Love Actually, are also actors.
She attended the private North London Collegiate School and studied English Literature at Oxford University.
Popplewell began acting at the age of six, taking classes at the Allsorts Drama School and began acting professionally in the TV production Frenchman's Creek in 1998.
She made her film debut in 1999 in the film Mansfield Park and has since appeared in supporting roles as a love-struck vampire in 2000's The Little Vampire and TV outings including Dirty Tricks with Martin Clunes.
In 2001, she appeared in the TV drama Love in a Cold Climate alongside her sister Lulu and went on to star in the Anna Friel/Michelle Williams drama Me Without You.
The following year she played Denise Smash in the children's comedy Thunderpants and played Maertge in the drama The Girl With The Pearl Earring.
Her first major role was in the 2005 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe where she played Susan Pevensie.
She reprised her role in the sequel, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
