Low-impact sequel to the doggy comedy hit K9, again starring James Belushi as the detective, Dooley, with his four-legged partner Jerry Lee. Cop and canine are now older and less fit, so their captain gives them new partners - young Christine Tucci and her Dobermann, Zeus. There are not too many laughs, but Belushi displays his usual charm as he wisecracks his way through a simple thriller plot. Fair fun for undemanding younger teenagers.
