Matthew O'Leary and Laura Vandervoort play brother and sister Adam and Chelsea Hansen, grounded by their single mum, whom they set up on a date, only to suspect her guy may be a vampire. Silly, strained Disney children's comedy with a script that's burdened with too many unfunny lines and a mere wisp of a plot that's more of a situation than a developed screenplay. The trick work looks cheap and the movie wastes the talents of the pleasant Robert Carradine (as Malichi Van Helsing - you work it out! ) and Caroline Rhea (as the mother). Unlike the best Disney films, this one offers nothing to amuse adults, but it might keep kids quiet.
