This Australian comedy drama stars Russell Page as a champion high school rugby player who has a secret desire to become a ballet dancer. Sound familiar? Remember Billy Elliot? Well this charming little film came first and is both funny and enjoyable as we see Page desperately try to conceal his ballet training from his rugga mates. And the climax at the Sydney Opera house is well worth the wait. This was the only major full-length movie Page did and it mirrors his early life where he had to choose between a rugby career or dance. But fame didn't agree with him and he committed suicide aged 34.
