Martin Henderson

The actor first attracted attention as Naomi Watts' boyfriend in the American remake of Japanese horror movie The Ring.
An open casting at school led to Henderson emabarking on an acting career which saw him move from New Zealand to Australia to America.
At 13 he was cast in a local TV programme and went on to star in the New Zealand drama series Shortland Street for three years.
In 1995, Henderson moved to Sydney, where he landed the part of an athlete in the TV series Sweat and made his feature debut opposite Rahda Mitchell in Kick.
He then moved to New York, where he worked on the stage, before landing a role in John Woo's World War II drama Windtalkers.
He also played the love interest of Naomi Watts in the American version of Japanese psycho-chiller The Ring.
Other projects include Piece of my Heart, a romantic comedy with Piper Perabo, and the motorcycle racing actioner Torque with Ice Cube.
Recent work includes the romantic lead opposite former Miss World Aishwarya Rai in the Bollywood adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, Bride and Prejudice.
