An uncompromising crime drama, The Yards boasts an array of Hollywood's finest acting talent, from bright young things to peerless veterans (Caan and Oscar winners Dunaway and Ellen Burstyn).

The film follows Leo Handler (Wahlberg), who returns home from prison having taking the fall for a crime committed by others.

Looking to his shady Uncle Frank (Caan) for work in his New York rail yard, slow-witted but loyal Leo finds himself dragged into some dodgy dealings with old friend Willie (Phoenix), now Frank's right-hand man and boyfriend of Leo's gorgeous cousin (Theron).

With corruption and crime rife in the yards, Leo is soon up to his neck in trouble and loose cannon Willie is about to go off...

The high calibre cast-list makes this dark and riveting movie all the more memorable.
