Oh, no, it's the end of the world again. You would think that by now there had been enough of these tales, but no. There's a slightly different slant in this one as the only scientist who could save the Earth from a shower of meteors has been kidnapped by an extreme religious cult, whose leader welcomes the end of the world. Not a bad notion, but the fact that this offering went straight to video indicates that it isn't very well realised. Still, in fairness, it's rattled along at a spanking pace and the stars (led by Ice-T and Mario Van Peebles) give the story more help than they should have to.
