A dark and unsettling tragi-comedy written and performed with deadpan skill. Chuck and Buck, who were childhood best pals, reunite in adulthood when Buck's mother dies. Chuck (Chris Weitz) now calls himself Charlie and is an LA sophisticate about to be wed. But Buck (Mike White), still childlike, remembers his and Chuck's homosexual experimentation and relocates to be nearer Charlie, resorting to stalking him in order to rekindle their passion. A real oddity, this - the subject matter is undeniably uncomfortable, but the characters and their romance (even such an unconventional one) gradually draw you in .
