Current Doctor Who Christopher Eccleston stars in this period mystery drama set in 1977 and 1969. He plays the militant British boyfriend of American student Cameron Diaz who apparently commits suicide in 1970, a year after getting involved in left-wing politics in Europe. Seven years later Diaz's kid sister, Jordana Brewster, appears on his Paris doorstep searching for clues as to why her sibling supposedly killed herself. It's an interesting and atmospheric film mostly told in flashback boasting good turns from Eccleston and especially Diaz.
