Sharon Maguire
English born Sharon's first feature film was the hit comedy, Bridget Jones's Diary.
Between 1991-93, she worked as producer/director for the BBC's The Late Show.
She then made several acclaimed documentaries which include The Godfather, a Late Show special on the architect Philip Johnson which was short listed for Best Documentary Film at the Montreal Film Festival.
She also made several documentaries for the BBC between 1994-95: In At Number Ten, a documentary which formed part of The Thatcher Years season; a drama documentary on Picasso; and Rumer Godden: An Indian Affair, which was nominated for an International Emmy.
Sharon has also directed adverts for clients including the Irish Tourist Board, British Telecom, Volkswagen, Volvo, Centerparcs, Five Alive and Boeing.
