Melissa Sagemiller
Melissa started her path in the performing arts at a very young age. At the age of three, she began dance lessons, and at nine, she made her professional stage debut, appearing in a local production of To Kill a Mockingbird in the Washington, DC area.
By the age of 14, acting took a back seat, and Melissa began modeling after being discovered by Eileen Ford.
After a while, she decided to enrol at the University of Virginia where she studyed Art History. Once graduated, Melissa headed to New York, where she took up acting again, studying at The Stella Adler Conservatory, and then the Michael Howard Studio.
While studying, Melissa paid her dues with day work on soaps like As the World Turns and Another World.
She made her feature film debut in James Toback's mostly improvised feature Black and White, then appeared in Get Over It, followed by a starring role in the teen thriller Soul Survivors, and a turn in the college comedy Sorority Boys.
