The plot here may bode well for a film, but Crimson Tide had already done something similar, plus the acting in this TV movie doesn't always hold water. Just off the coast of North Korea, a submarine loses contact with the outside world during a small accidental nuclear explosion and when it surfaces there are differing views on what has happened and how to handle the situation. New sub commander Sheffield (Casper Van Dien) struggles to control his crew, who think war has broken out and want to start firing their weapons. A reasonable waterborne thriller nevertheless.
