The Edgar Wallace thriller films usually produced some surprises among the supporting casts, and this one is no exception. Glamorous Nadja Regin provides the cherry in the crime pie, but the real plum is the appearance of Michael Caine as a gangster. Glyn Houston portrays the policeman, taken off a case by his superiors, who plays a lone, unauthorised hand against thieves.
