Terence Frisby's long-running comedy play was obviously a must for a film with two big names, and eventually Peter Sellers and Goldie Hawn landed the roles. Not as funny as you might expect with these stars, but Goldie is in especially good form as the dumb blonde who confounds Peter Sellers (game for anything, but unlikely as a womaniser in screen terms) with a unique blend of corruption and innocence. Naughty in its day, but much more innocuous now.
