This quirky, superbly-photographed but rambling drama has a screenplay by top science-fiction writer Ray Bradbury. The director is the Frenchman Serge Bourguignon, who seven years earlier had won the Academy Award for best foreign film of the year for Sundays and Cybele. The story concerns a young couple (Albert Finney and Yvette Mimieux) searching for the famous painter Picasso. Alas, it's little more than a tiresome curio.
