Richard Dreyfuss has appeared in some odd film ventures in his time, but none odder than this bizarre tall tale about an actress deeply affected by her casting as a Messiah. The story-within-a-story framework was constructed by director Michael Barry, son of actor Gene Barry, who has a featured role. Wispily attractive Sondra Locke is the girl.
