Dim caveman comedy has Ringo Starr sleepwalking though his star(r) part as a prehistoric man who forms a tribe of misfits wittily called "The Misfits". It's hardly a criticism of this send-up to call it daft, but it too often descends from the silly into the stupid. An OK production, though, with decent creatures. Ringo's wife, Barbara Bach, co-stars as the beautiful Lana.
