Just because the film is harrowing and serious, it doesn't mean that those involved in it can't have a chuckle, or at least that's what Charlize and Christina thought.Despite telling the story of America's legendary female serial killer, Aileen Wuornos, Miss Theron and Miss Ricci found plenty to giggle about whilst making Monster.

Charlize won her Oscar for playing the brutalised prostitute-turned serial killer, Wuornos, who forms a close bond with a troubled young lesbian - played by Ricci.
And it would seem that it was the girl on girl kissing that had the pair in stitches the most...
Apparently Charlize found it quite tricky to snog Christina because of the false teeth she had to wear, and kept having to apologise.
In order to play the renowned serial killer, Charlize had to put on weight and wear 'ugly' make-up, as well as some un-Hollywood-ified gnashers... with the result being that the former model is practically unrecognisable.
The film comes out on Friday 2nd April 2004.
