Self-styled celebrity wanted for crimes against clean-cut family entertainment, MTV's Tom Green makes the leap to the big screen with the outrageous Freddy Got Fingered.
Green is his usual self but plays a character called Gordon Brody, a slacker fast approaching 30 who dreams of becoming an animator for cartoon shows.
He is forced to move back in with his parents and then refuses to leave - much to the dismay of his haggard mother (Hagerty) and furious father (Torn).
Along the way, he pleasures various farm animals, licks open flesh wounds, goes scuba diving in a toilet and swings a newborn baby around by its umbilical cord.
Things take a turn for the worse when Gord accuses his dad of abusing his younger brother Freddy (Thomas - American Pie's Finch), sparking Mrs Brody to 'shaq' up with a famous basketball star.
A furtive love affair with a wheelchair-bound rocket scientist (Coughlan) and some behaviour too insane, disgusting and weird to be mentioned here add to the sublimely stupid plot, which serves as a platform for Green's irrational comedy.
He puts the gross in 'gross-out' and reaches a new level of sickness and stupidity, which isn't as easy as it may sound for a man as twisted as Tom.
If you're easily offended - by anything at all - then perhaps this isn't for you; but if you're into zany comedy or have a sordid sense of humour, you know where to come.
