Gina Gershon is miscast as a prison shrink who's enraged when the hubby she's divorcing gets the custody of their daughters in this intricately involved but overheated and artificial thriller. Sean Patrick Flanery isn't ideal, either, as a psycho patient who plots to kill the now ex-hubby and his girlfriend, implicating Gershon when she won't agree to be his woman. Michael Biehn co-stars as the cop who starts to wonder if Gershon's the victim or the villain. Borderline boring.
