Tom Berenger is good fun as a stubborn, small-town marshal in this Western, the pilot movie for the TV series of the same name. He reluctantly accepts the help of a straight-laced Scotland Yard detective (Peter O'Meara - much less convincing) in the case of a murdered landowner, and both learn a thing or two in their investigations.

I really enjoyed this self proclaimed "CSI goes west". Instead of merely imitating the CSI and CSI: Miami format, it introduces a new aspect with the conflicting personalities of the "Old West" in Marshal Stone and the new Forensic techniques in Larimer Finch.
