I want to see both parts again!

Being a fan and a childhood viewer of the first series, I watched this with the expectation of it falling flat on its face but after the first half-hour I found myself gripped. The direction was first class and, dare I say it, the cast changes were first rate too. Add to the mix a gripping soundtrack and suspense normally reserved for Hitchcock films and you have the makings of a sci-fi classic.

I was a bit apprehensive as to what I would think of this re-make, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters brought the original concept up to date without taking away the feel of the original film. Dark, menacing and extremely watchable.
