To be honest I wouldn't bother with this film. It promises a lot but doesn't deliver. Vin Diesel needs to go back to acting school and stop wasting my time with substandard movies! How can anyone compare, xXx with 007? They are not even in the same league!

Billed as an alternative to James Bond, this film delivers a strong storyline, brilliant characters and amazing stunts. Vin Diesel is extreme sports athlete Xander Cage, forced to become a spy by Gibbons (Samuel L Jackson). He infiltrates Anarchy 99, led by a sinister Marton Csokas, who are suspected of having a biological weapon. Xander has more in common with the bad guys than the NSA. Vin Diesel puts in a masterful performance, and the stunts are breathtaking. The best movie ever!

Who needs James Bond?! The new generation of skaters and rockers have embraced xXx for what it is. Proper action! Rob Cohen, Vin Diesel and Neal Moritz make a fantastic team. Full of crazy stunts, beautiful settings and a hot leading cast, what more can you ask for?!

This film is cool. Vin Diesel is an excellent actor and he really does show it in this film.

This is a really cool, well-balanced film. There is something for everyone. Action for the boys, romance for the girls, comedy for everyone. Vin Diesel for the girls; Asia Argento for the guys. It's got it all.

When I saw the movie trailer I though it was going to be a good film but after I saw it I thought it was grand! The way Vin puts all his effort in to the character!

As action movies go this will blow you away. Excellent stunts and camara work makes you feel like the wind is rushing through your hair. The story line leaves a few holes, although the plot is feasible from this part of war-torn Europe, but with a body like Vin on screen...... who's listening anyway? James bond is all gadgets while xXx is packing a real punch. Bring it on Vinny!!

Absolutely brilliant! Makes James Bond look like a Sunday afternoon stroll in the park. Extreme action is outstanding and deserves respect. And girls, if you think this is just for the blokes then think again - Vin Diesel in action is worth the ticket money alone!

I would say this film is one for the ladies as well as the men. The plot is OK but the stunts and Vin more than make up for it. He's very pleasing on the eye!
