When sent to broker a deal with Greece's 'high king' Agamemnon, Paris, a prince of Troy meets and falls in love with Helen, wife of Agamemnon's brother.
Agamemnon wishes to plunder Troy, and when Helen and Paris escape together, he seizes the opportunity to invade, launching a thousand ships to reclaim Helen and take Troy.
