The greatest movie in this franchise is a very scary and chilling movie. With an original story and great cast.

Fantastic horror. I fainted after watching this for the first time and I loved the first two sequels. I'm a big fan of Wes Craven's films.

This is by far the best movie I've seen in a long time and that's out of hundreds. There are a couple of very jumpy bits. Freddy's make-up in the first is excellent but, by the fifth, looks like rubber. The film is weird (would you admit to your child that you killed a crazy maniac? Freddy Kreuger can't come after you, sweety, he's dead, he's dead because mommy killed him.) What's good is that Nancy comes back to do battle with Freddy yet again...
