The Incredibles

Pixar's bid for global animation domination took another giant leap with the Oscar-winning tale of Mr Incredible (Craig T Nelson) and his family of superheroes. After a botched rescue, the gifted clan are forced into anonymity and forbidden to use their superpowers. But it's not long before they are recalled into action when the world is threatened by sneaky megalomaniac Buddy Pine aka Syndrome. Knowing winks to James Bond and an uncanny comprehension of what kids like make this pretty much the pitch-perfect cartoon adventure.

I'm still puzzled where everyone gets their "it's really reall funny" from? This wasn't funny. It had good animation and nothing else. Really Really OVER-RATED.

My 5 year old complained about the ending.. saying the film finished in the middle! He enjoyed every second and wants more!

This film is the rare animal which functions on equally high level as a parody of a genre (the superhero adventure film) and a legit entry to the same genre. As an adventure, the film has action naturally, but it has heart, too, dealing with the softer side of the life of a superhero. It's also homage taken to high art form, with reverential references to Bond, Anderson, Hanna-Barbera, japanimation, Star Wars, Indiana jones and just about any other pop-culture institution of the past 50 years.

Absolutely incredible! It's got all the hallmarks of a classic. It seems Pixar are breaking new ground with their every release. This film is again in a different style from the last and possibly will appeal more to adults than children, because of the pastiche element and the injokes. But, there is plenty for everyone and it has to be the funniest from Pixar to date. At 2 hours long it flies by feeling like an Incredible 20 mins long, long rein Pixar and the Parrs. . .

Although very entertaining for kids, I found The Incredibles not as funny as the other offerings from Pixar. The film could have done with more visual humour as in 'A Bugs life' to make it appeal to the adult audience more. On the whole it is a pleasant film, my daughter aged 7 loved it, but I have to admit, I have seen more enjoyable 2 hour long 'cartoon' movies!

The perfect movie in which you can suspend reality for nearly two hours! Fantastic, full of great cgi, jokes, characters, amazing voice talent and the magic and sparkle that only Disney can offer. Highly recommended, the movie of this year without a doubt! Go and see now!

Great film, but it isnt like any other Pixar film in the way that it caters totally for the children watching. I took my 2 children and they thought it was great, however i was a little bored.....great story, great animation.......but totally for children. If you are an adult going to watch it, i think you will enjoy it, but will leave wishing there were more tongue in cheek adult gags.
